A Home Inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of a residential dwelling, performed for a fee, which is designed to identify observed material defects within specific components of said dwelling. Components may include any combination of mechanical, structural, electrical, plumbing, or other essential systems or portions of the home, as identified and agreed to by the Client and Inspector, prior to the inspection process.
A home inspection is intended to assist in evaluation of the overall condition of the dwelling. The inspection is based on observation of the visible and apparent condition of the structure and its components on the date of the inspection, and not the prediction of future conditions.
A home inspection will not reveal every concern that exists or ever could exist, but only those material defects observed on the day of the inspection.
Inspections start at $345*.

Radon is a radioactive gas that has been found in homes all over the United States. It comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock and water, and gets into the air you breathe. Radon typically moves up through the ground to the air above, and into your home through cracks and other holes in the foundation. Radon can also enter your home through well water. Your home can trap radon inside.
Any home can have a radon problem, including new and old homes, well-sealed and drafty homes, and homes with or without basements. In fact, you and your family are most likely to get your greatest radiation exposure at home. That is where you spend most of your time.
Nearly one out of every 15 homes in the United States is estimated to have an elevated radon level (4 pCi/L or more). Elevated levels of radon gas have been found in homes in your state.

What Is a Sewer Scope?
A sewer scope is a video inspection of the lateral sewer line leading from the house at/near the foundation and connecting to the city or HOA tap or septic tank. A lateral sewer line is the privately-owned pipeline connecting the property to the publicly owned main sewer line, HOA tap, or septic tank.
Why should you consider this service?
Sewer-scoping the line can reveal blockages, damage to the pipe system, and other problems, which are vital for homeowners and home buyers to be aware of. For example, if there is a damp depression in the lawn above the sewer line, or if there is backflow into the home, or if contaminants have been discovered in the potable water supply, a sewer scope inspection can be critical to identifying and confirming these problems, which must be addressed immediately.
Repair Cost
Damaged or blocked septic or sewer line repairs may cost thousands depending on the type of repair, material, location, etc. Conducting a Sewer Scope service during your home inspection should give you peace of mind prior to your new home purchase.
Septic Tank Locate
If you intend on having your septic tank pumped, we will refer you to a septic company; there is no reason to pay twice. However, if you would like your septic tank located and marked only, we will provide that service.
What we are NOT
We are not plumbers; we are not a septic service. We cannot repair, make estimation of repairs, or pump/clean tanks or sewer lines. We will only provide a visual reference and attempt to mark the location of issue if accessible; just as we do during your home inspection.
Service Fee(s)
Add-on to Home Inspection: $145
Stand-Alone Service $290
